Overview
DNA has long been the gold standard in human forensic analysis because of the standardization of DNA markers, databases and statistical analyses. Forensic DNA Analysis plays a crucial role in the investigation and resolution of many crimes worldwide. The demand for tools and technologies in all areas of forensic science, especially DNA testing, far exceeds the current capabilities of the field. DNA analysis methods have changed countless times over the years as technology changes and allows for more information to be determined with less starting material.
This online Forensics Expert Forum-cum-Webinar is a technical discussion group comprising of Senior Team Leaders and/or R&D Heads and has been designed to include engaging and informative discussions on DNA Forensics and will feature presentation-based discussions that delve into the latest technological advancements and successes in human identification through forensic DNA analysis. This webinar will address advancements and current practices in the various aspects of the DNA analysis process, from optimizing extraction and identifying biological sources to next-generation sequencing and bioinformatics to DNA analysis case studies and success stories in crime investigation.
The purpose of this Forensic Sciences Expert Forum-cum-Webinar is to bring the experts and the stakeholders to an international platform that encourages knowledge and experience sharing through open discussion sessions. This discussion webinar will be held on May 10, 2024, virtually. This is brought to you by the organizing team of the Forensics Research and Analysis conference held in Radisson Blu Paschim Vihar Hotel in New Delhi on 25-25 April 2019.
