As the co-founder of India Hemp and Co., Jayanti Bhattacharya is passionate about using hemp as a tool for a more sustainable future. Established in 2020, the company makes a range of nutritional hemp products for people and their pets. She Co-founded with her sister Shalini Bhattacharya, India Hemp and Co. is incubated at IIM-Bangalore’s innovation and entrepreneurship hub, won ‘Hemp Nutraceutical Company’ (2021-2022), and has been featured in Forbes and other publications. Jayanti represented their company on 2022’s Shark Tank India (season 1).As someone who believes in women’s empowerment and equity, Jayanti also mentors aspiring female entrepreneurs. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Jayanti graduated from the University of Leeds in 2002 and began her career with Ogilvy and Mather.
