Research Professor of genome editing at Gyeongsang National University, South Korea, since 2017. Received Ph.D. in molecular biology from Ehime University, Japan, and then worked as a Postdoc at Proteo-Science Center with Prof. Hidenori Hayashi. Currently, involved in the development of novel genome editing tools in bacteria, yeast, and plants in Prof. Jae-Yean Kim's Laboratory at GNU, South Korea. Major interest is CRISPR/Cas-based targeted random mutagenesis for mimicking the crop evolution in fast-forward manner.
