Mr. Tapas Saha, did his B. Tech (Chemical), M. Tech in Pharmaceutical Technology from University of Kolkata and Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety from Technical Examination Board, Gujarat, having more than 29 years rich experience in the field of EHS in Pharmaceutical & Chemical Industries, India & Abroad. 

Currently he is working in Aurobindo Pharma Limited, Hyderabad as Sr. Vice President- EHS & Sustainability.  He also worked as Corporate EHS Head in Piramal Healthcare Limited. Mumbai., Neuland Laboratories Limited, Jubilant Life Sciences & Wockhardt Limited. He is very well conversed with EHS of Pharmaceutical & Chemical Operations & its criticality with current trends in Pharma Industries Globally. He has key expertise on Hazardous Waste Management, AFR. Wealth from Waste is one of the key moto in his professional career. He executes numbers of Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) projects successfully to treat wastewater. He implemented Carbon Footprint & Offsetting Program, Corporate Sustainability Reporting, involved in EHS Due Diligence, Audit & Training. In his long professional career, he handled numbers of EHS project, develop Process Safety Management System of various hazardous operation, Industrial hygiene program.

His technical knowledge & practical approach on Chemical Process helped to develop EHS as an integral prat of business & decision maker to bring the right kind process which is safe by design. A hard-core Technical Person, Mr. Tapas is very much familiar with Environment Protection Act & Factories Act, ensure its implementation and compliance for sustainable business.

In addition to his professional responsibilities, he is Honorary President of Council of EHS Professionals, CEP, an NGO in the field of EHS which is engaged to provide a platform for EHS professionals to enhance knowledge in alienation with industries’ requirement to compete globally.
