Dr. Sandra Carrillo is a Specialist in Cannabinoid Based Medicine, trained and certified in Canada , USA and Colombia. Co-Founder /VP Colombian Medical Cannabis Association (ASOMEDCCAM). She has a Master’s Degree in Health Services Management, Certification in Research in Humans Virginia Commonwealth, and Diploma Certification in Research Epidemiology CES University. She holds the position of Professor Head of Scientific and Educational Program of Cannabinoid Medicine Faculty of Medicine University of Panama. Professor and Co- Creator of Diploma Certification CES University (Colombia) Therapeutic Applications of Cannabinoids in the Clinical Practice. Co-Founder / Medical Director of Medicann IPS Medical Cannabis Clinics in Colombia. Professor / Co- Creator of Certification in Cannabinoid Medicine Colombian Medical Collegue of Physicians / ASOMEDCCAM.
She is a Member of International Phytomedicines Institute, Board Member Association of Cannabis Specialists (ACS) USA, Board Member Association for Cannabis Health Equity and Medicine (ACHEM) USA, Scientific Board Member Portugal Medical Cannabis, Scientific Board Member of the Colombian Observatory of Medical Cannabis, Board Member Cannamerica.
Founder Member Society of Cannabis Clinicians Latin American Chapter.
She is also an Honorary Professor for Diploma Certification in Cannabinoid Medicine, Mexican Association of Medical Cannabis, Professor Invited for the Diploma Certification of Cannabinoid Medicine , Peruvian Univeristy San Martin de Porres and Peruvian Medical Cannabis Association, Professor invited at Certification in Cannabinoid Therapies for Doctors in Brazil. She is also International Advocate (Participant in the draft of the Project 153 for legalization of Medical Cannabis with the Senators in Panama recently approved), assessor of the Ministry of Health of Panama in The reglamentation of the Medical Cannabis law. International Consultant and Co-Founder of the Panama food bank and volunteer at the Children´s Epilepsy foundation in Panama.
