Dr D T Singh is Founder and President, CloudSeq Pte Ltd, Singapore. He did his PhD in Life Sciences from Central University of Hyderabad, India in 1987 and worked as Asst Professor, Dept Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Pantnagar Univerity, India from 1989-1997. He did his post-doctoral fellowship in Rice Genome Program, Tsukuba, Japan and International Rice Research Institute, Manila, Philippines from 1997-1999 and joined as Senior Scientist, National Research Center on Plant Biotechnology, Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, India from 1999-2002. He was Cofounder and VP of Genvea Biosciences Pte Ltd, Singapore during 2003-2016 and in 2016 he founded CloudSeq Pte Ltd, Singapore. Profile:

He has coordinated a multi-million-dollar Manpower Development Project (Agricultural Biotechnology) funded by Dept. Biotechnology, Govt. India Established a state-of-the-art Genome Informatics Center at Indian Agricultural Research Institute, India heading a team of IT experts and Biology experts for Rice Genome Annotation under an International collaborative project comprising 14 countries

He Joined KooPrime, Singapore as Director, CloudSeq with a vision to make NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) data generation, management and analysis through Cloud and launched CloudSeq Pte Ltd (http://cloudseq.sg) with seed funding from NRF/MDA (Govt. Singapore) and Expara (www.expara.com) Successfully launched myClinGen (www.myclingen.com).

He was nominated for best IT solution by IDA, Singapore in 2016 and for best Cloud based HPC solution by NSCC. He was invited to participate in EUREKA Global stars program sponsored by Enterprise Singapore, wherein 7 EU countries expressed interest to collaborate. He was awarded a prestigious Covid-19 project by NSCC, Singapore.
